What made you decide to participate in the Harcourts Foundation Kokoda Challenge?
The idea was first floated over a boozy weekend with Cath and John Mcleod. The idea of doing Kokoda has always interested me and the idea of fund raising added to the trips merit.
What do you hope to get out of the Trek?
An insight into one of the most important battles that took place in Australian history, an insight into the journey that the diggers undertook and hopefully an enormous appreciation for what they endured. I think I will have a huge sense of relief and completion at the end of the journey.
What do you think you will miss the most?
My wife (Nicole), my business, and lots of creature comforts.
